Output Management -- the full story

this is a tracking ticket -- individual tasks depending.

Everything needed to get a roughly complete handling of external connections. Lumiera should be able to enumerate the currently supported sound and video sinks and provide a complete mechanism for mapping the internal "output designators" used within the current session. According to our current milestone plan, making this work end-to-end is part of the second integration round, which focuses on real world usability of a basic feature set.
