this is a tracking ticket -- individual tasks depending.

Design and create the basic components and facilities necessary to render output frames. Assumed we have a structure plan or a working Builder implementation, anything necessary to have a render nodes network in memory and the ability of this network to work together with the backend in order to produce output data -- is within the scope of this tracking ticket.

I'll take responsibility here, meaning that I'll have a look regarding the integration of the various parts. For rendering actually to happen, we need the colaboration of all 3 layers.
